"Hi, for a few years a) i have experienced great difficulty in finding frames that i liked and since discovering Iris, have bought about 6 pairs! admittedly 3 of those pairs were due to my own stupidity in losing them but the point is that within 10 minutes of walking into the shop, i always find at least 2 or 3 pairs i want, whereas in some 'other' high st stores, i might walk up and down for 30 minutes trying on every pair in the store to no avail. Alexis is a delight to deal with too, and i can only recommend whoeheartedly this store to all of those like me who have been wearing glasses for years that they dont really like!" |

The glasses were in short supply in the country and had to be ordered direct from Italy, Iris were in regular contact to let me know the status of the order and ensured that I had them in time for a forthcoming holiday. After ordering from Iris I also saw the glasses in Selfridges and Iris were considerably cheaper, which was an added bonus. All in all great service, I have no hesitation in highly recommending you using and trying them." |

Friendly and unobtrusive staff. My only comments would be that I wasn't told about the range of lenses offered when I was buying my glasses eg anti-reflection. The second was that the mirrors in the City shop were far too high for the likes of the vertically challenged like me! I had to keep going to the end of the store and looking in the mirror there which had fingerprints all over it so it was difficult to see. Otherwise a fantastic experience and keep up the good work. Notwithstanding, I opted to visit the store in person to see what the catch was, but I'm relieved to say there isn't one - The service was fantastic and the range was superb. After much indecision I eventually plumped for a pair of Mykita's, with transition lenses. The lenses are actually very good quality, being the same as offered by most opticians, which leaves me wondering how other opticians can sell frames and lenses at such a mark-up. Oh well, I'm not quibbling, as I'm delighted with my glasses and the service from Iris." |
